IGT Testing Systems is pleased to highlight the successful installation and commissioning of the IGT Amsterdam 6 at Smurfit Westrock Empaques Modernos de Guadalajara, completed by ExametriK, our official representative and Certified Service Centre (CSC).
Following comprehensive repair, preventive maintenance, and calibration, the IGT Amsterdam 6 was restored to peak operating performance, ensuring accurate and reliable printability testing. Exametrik’s certified engineers also delivered in-depth operator training, equipping the Smurfit Westrock team with the knowledge and confidence to maximize the system’s capabilities.
As IGT’s flagship printability tester, the Amsterdam 6 holds a series of printing discs mounted on individual shafts used in sequence, simulates e.g. the back-trapping effect seen on a real printing press. After each scan, the built-in camera and software automatically analyze the printed area and produce test results on the touch screen.
Providing precise, repeatable results that support quality control, process optimization, and product development across the paper, board, ink, paper chemicals and packaging industries.
We thank Smurfit Westrock for their continued trust in IGT technology and congratulate the Exametrik team on delivering another successful installation and training project. Together, we remain committed to helping customers achieve the highest standards of print quality and testing accuracy.
