IGT Gloss Meter 3G

The IGT Gloss Meter 3G is a handheld device to measure gloss values under 20°, 60° and 85° angles. All three angles can be selected simultaneously but a measurement in just one or two angles is also possible.

For high gloss coated, cast coated, lacquered, highly varnished or waxed paper or high gloss ink films, a measurement at 20° is more suitable.

This Gloss Meter is designed and manufactured according to ISO2813 and GB9754. It is also compatible with the standards of ASTM D523, ASTM D2457, GB/T13891, GB7706 and GB8807.

Each individual device comes with a holder that includes a calibration tile, used as working standard, and a USB stick with software to import the test results into Excel.

The Gloss Meter can be used to measure the gloss of:
• Coatings and polished surfaces.
• Printed and unprinted matter such as paper, board, plastic, foils etc. according to ISO 12647.
• Decorative materials such as marble, granite etc.
• Materials such as plastic, wood ware, ceramic etc
